Bogota

My American and French friends have gone their own way and I am travelling alone again. We were just to different but we had a few laughs and having someone to travel with for a few days was great.

Colombia and Bogota the capital gets very bad press. I enjoyed the place and felt safe. The city itself has its historical centre and that is where I stayed pretty much all the time and had plenty to see.

Being a Sunday there was parade and apparently that happens every Sunday. It was a strange parade because it seemed to be a mix of religious, political protest, artistic and cultural themes.

Market stalls were the order of the day.
