Tucuman

The weather has been nothing but brilliant most of my trip BUT the skies opened up on me as I rode into a town called Tucuman in northern Argentina. Hail and torrential rain. I was soaked and made worse when I tried to cross the road depicted in the first photo. Hey I am no better vin water than sand but the bike remained upright.

The country was dry and semi arid with sun shining all day. This huge black cloud developed and down it came.

The town itself was typical of those in Central and South America with plazas and colonial buildings.
The hostel was very accommodating allowing me to park the bike in the foyer and use their facilities to dry everything off.
